Using Toast 10 i have major burn problems with large files. Burning large files to DATA DVDs isn't possible without Errors. If i burn a large file >4,3GB as DATA Disc i get Read-Errors on verify after the Layerbreak (Read Error at Sector xxxxxx). I tested UDF/ISO9660 and wasted 10 Doublelayer DVD+R Discs just to find out that it must be a Toast 10 bug
Burning large VIDEO_TS Folders (7,95 GB) as Video-DVD works fine with the same Burner/Media.
Burning the same Files on the same Media using Mac OS' built-in burn engine works without problems (e.g. Freeware LiquidCD). Media affected was Ricoh DVD+R DL 8x and Verbatim DVD+R DL 2,4x.
I have a Optiarc 7201S Burner, but i tried a NEC ND-3520 in a Firewirecase too, same results. Toast 10 is current (10.0.2), MacOS is at 10.5.6
I opened a Ticket at Roxio, but it would be nice if anyone could confirm this.
