sknis
I was wondering if there are any laws against using your favorite music that you purchased and added to your Photo Show? Yes. US copyright rules apply. It also depends on what you are going to do with it. If you are going to burn your own disc with the copyrighted music and you use it for personal use (a few copies for family and friends) then it is improbable that some one will complain. If you plan to use the slide shows in public, then you could be in trouble. The rules of use say: "Prohibited Conduct You agree not to post or transmit through the Service any material or content that violates or infringes in any way the rights or properties of others ....." This is true for YouTube. I used a piece of 1960's music in a short video and got a nasty e-mail. I had to take the slide show down.
