Does Not Capture Video, Freezes Up

i bought the vhs to dvd software a few weeks ago. installed successfully. went through instructions properly. got to the part where it tells you to press play button on vcr and then click capture now. when i do the little mini screen disappears and the program just freezes up to where u cannot exit or anything. u have to restart computer to get program to close. and nevertheless, no video copied. any suggestions?

Could be th e program, could be your PC???

 

First step would be a Clean Install to rule out the Program. Here is the procedure for Creator 2009 but it applies to V2D as well.

The trick to Clean Install is to print it out so it is by your side and follow it step by step using the More or Less method. (Don't do More than it says and don't do Less!)
