REDWAGON Posted May 4, 2009 Author Report Share Posted May 4, 2009 I have never had that happen before but on a couple of occasions when I was in Costco to buy some items and I handed the checker my membership card, they automatically advised me that it was out of date that month and wanted to know if I wanted to update it for another year and include it in my purchases. If you renewed 4 months late, your membership was only good for an additional 8 months. Actually, the issue I had with Sam's Club is that if you renewed early, your 12 months started at the time of renewal, not at the end of your previous 12 months. Most times, the checkout people would tell you to renew either after it had run out, or as close as you could so you wouldn't "lose" membership time from your previous renewal.
