Failed To Extract File From Archive Diff_000024.dif

Attempted to install SP4 for Roxio Creater 2009 and get the error described in title. Even did msconfig and did Diagnostic startup with same results. Any ideas? I had the same problem w/ SP3 and just gave up. Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling with same results.

Worth a try (I had a somewhat similar problem) Download SP4 to a folder. Re start PC in safe mode. Run SP4. Have you checked that the file exists? I think running in safe mode avoids conflicts with other applications (anti virus etc)

I've tried every conceivable method of resolving this. I started with downloading and install in safe mode w/ same results. I went back and did a clean uninstall/ install w/ msconfig set to turn off start up items. I then got into this loop of constantly installing Roxio CinePlayer and restarting the computer.

I then tried to update and got the same error message as before.
