I am currently a happy user of CD Spin Doctor 4.02.333t (bundled with Toast 8) and would not be interested in upgrading except for one thing: I've transferred some precious old blues vinyls that still have a very loud pop, from visible scratches in the record, that I can't edit out with the filters. It's frustrating because I can see a line for each pop on the spectrogram... want to get in there and just scrub it out manually.
Does either product bundled with Toast 10 and Toast 10 Pro do this? From discussion boards it seems like CD Spin Doctor works the way it always has but maybe crashes more often. While the SoundSoap marketing description sounds like it allows manual editing but does not get as specific as "it will allow you to get right in and edit out an individual pop or click".
Can anybody advise me on whether either product, or both, will solve my problem? Thanks.
