Incomplete Burn

I'm running easy VHS to DVD on Windows Vista. My version includes SP2. I attempted to copy a VHS tape to DVD. The process appear to proceed properly, the movie played in the program window on my PC indicating the signal was being transmitted from the VCR player to the computer. The DVD I burnt would not play in my DVD player, the player indicated the disk was dirty. When I attempted to play the DVD using Windows Media Center all that would play was the opening menu.

 

Any suggestions other than try again?

RW media is perfect for learning/testing.

 

I would also try the disc using the CinePlayer which is part of the program.

 

Make sure you are using good quality media like Verbatim. Store brands and some name brands are junk and not worth the gas to bring them home!
