Fractured (jerky) Sound & Video After Burning Dvd

thomassch

Question

After using Creator 2009 speccial edition to edit my video and adding music, the burned dvd is impossible to view. Not only are all sounds ( voice and music ) impossible to distinguish but the movie is not smooth but appears fragmented i.e. "jerky". I have burned dvd's using Creator 7.5 in the past without this problem. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you, Thomassch

No information to work with

What program from the suite are you using? What is the source and format of your video? What settings are you using when burning your DVD? What make of DVD media are you using? Is your render method (under Tools/Options) set to hardware or software? What are your system specs, especially Video card

Please post your computer specs. Did you use MyDVD to burn the disc or the Express version. Did you encode (burn to an ISO file or to a folder set rather than directly to disc? The encoding to ISO file or folder set gives you a better chance of producing a good disc.

An old slow computer could cause the problem if you burn directly to disc or it could be bad discs. Maxell and store brands are known to cause problems.

How does the disc play in a program on your computer (CineMagic or VLC). If it plays well there, then the issue is probably with the DVD player. Have you tried a couple different players/
