I am experiencing issues with Creator 2009 burning data discs onto CD-R discs. The software will burn DVDs without issue, but the moment I try to burn a CD-R with either data or as an audio CD, the moment the burn process starts, Roxio ejects the disc and displays the message:
"There was a problem writing to the disc. You can try again by clicking the Retry button. You will need another blank disc ready."
I have updated the firmware for my drive, and updated Creator 2009 to SP4. I've updated everything I can think of. I've tried two different manufactures of CD-R discs, no luck. I've been able to successfully burn a disc with another burning software, and I've been able to burn blank DVDs with video and with data, so the drive itself seems to be functional. It just refuses to burn a CD-R with anything. Also of note, when it ejects the disc, it hasn't altered it in any way.

Any help would be appreciated in resolving this.
