Using .wmv Or .mpeg Files To Create Dvd

Mucho

Question

Hello, I'm trying to create a DVD from a .wmv and .mpeg files that I transformed from trailers I downloaded from a website and have no luck. The process of creation of the DVD hangs up when it is reading those files. Does anybody know if these type of files have a problem with Roxio?

Hey "Mucho"---Give us a little more information about what specific C2009 program you are using to import your mpeg files into. That and some information about your computer spec's, as many times a problem can be caused by hardware as opposed to software.

My suggestion, (assuming you are not already using it) is to open up C2009 "Videowave" program and import your video files, do any other editing or adding text, music, transitions etc.---then save it and then import that saved "Videowave" file (dmsm) into the C2009 "MyDVD" program and then preview it and do any other editing and then try a burn to DVD.
