Videowave - Inserting Color Panels

I am running Roxio EMC 2009 on Vista. I have used previous version without this problem. I add a few panels (jpg's) and then try to insert a color panel between then or after them. The option appears when you right click but nothing happens - no panel is inserted. I repeated this many times but to no avail. Does anyone know what could be happening?

After adding your jpg photos to your production, whatever particular panel or photo (jpg) you right click on, the color panel (whatever color you pick) that color panel will ALWAYS be inserted IN FRONT OF the jpg you right clicked on and push the jpg photo to the right.

 

And when you right click on that particular jpg panel, you will get the color options screen and then after clicking on a particular color you want and then "O.K." --the color panel will always cover up the number of that panel, even if it's the last numbered panel in your production.

Just to make sure; "Edit Video Advanced" aka Video Wave ?

 

What screen resolution and Windows font are you using (dpi). This is the first time I saw anyone posting this issue. Perhaps a clean install (with anti-virus and everything off closed) is the only solution.

These attachements show what you should be seeing when inserting a color panel at a particular place in C2009 "Videowave". If you don't get these screens I suggest you might want to do as Sknis suggested---do a clean install of the program.

You are insereting a white panel?
