Too Much Bright Light

datcutekid

Question

Hello,

I recently went to a very elaborate birthday party and I got footage to edit. The footage has too much bright back ground lighting. I've been messing around with the brightness and contrast on my Roxio creator 9 ultimate. However, when ever I mess with the settings the lighting decrease for all the footage. is there any way I could only decrease the back light without messing up the frontal lighting?

Will that work for picture or video. The footage I'm trying to edit is a video.

Splitting is for video only, obviously.

I am a bit unsure what you mean by "frontal"? If you want to change the brightnes of the background of a video and not affect the "foreground" then I don't think this software (or any in this price range) can do that.
