Transferring Music/Videos to DVD

motionless6018

Question

I have a large number of Music Videos that I have downloaded and put in a folder on my computer. My question is can I burn them to DVD disk using Roxio 7.5 and if so just how do I go about it. I did it using drag to disk, but the disk would not play in my DVD players. The files are in MPG format in my folder on my computer. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Depending on what you'd like to do with them, you would use either Videowave to add them to a project or, you could import them directly into DVD Builder, make a mneu and burn. I strongly suggest the tutorials for both programs. Videowave is best if you want to cut or edit and make transitions and effects to your videos. DVD Builder simply takes your files, lets you add a menu structure and burn to disc or folder for viewing on a dvd player.

Perhaps I should have said that I have Videos and not Music Videos. I just want to put them on a DVD and play them on my other DVD players. They are in MPG format, and none of my players play the MPG format. So I may be stuck right there if there is no way for me to convert them to a format that my DVD players will play. Thanks for your reply.

Videos or music videos - that is irrelevant. You have to use DVD Builder to create DVD that will play on a stand alone DVD player. You cannot simply copy mpgs to a DVD - no DVD player (that I know of) will play them. Just do what Paul has recommended in his post
