I've just bought creator 2009 online. Unfortunately, when I try and download it the download application hangs; no buttons are clickable, nothing happens. I'm running XP SP3 on a good pc. I've tried all sorts to no avail. Once, briefly, the Options button was available....but then it hung again. I've tried deleting temporary internet files, etc.
I've created a Help ticket with Roxio but haven't heard anything yet. In fact, when I log in to my account there is no trace of the ticket that I can see. When I try to view the ticket by clicking the link in Outlook I get access denied despite adding them to the safe senders list. When I go to my gmail account the link isn't clickable.
Any help gratefully appreciated as, so far, I've spent £50 on something completely useless......
Steve.
Edit: Forget the help ticket bit......I logged into my account but not into the support portal, which is where my ticket is. Why these aren't combined I do not know.
I've had a response from Roxio on that help ticket. It has several suggestions including the one I think is the cause of this frustration: I work in a school in London and we're behind a corporate firewall (as are hundreds of other schools in London) and this may be the problem. They suggest downloading from home. Well, if this is the cause then I'll be mightly annoyed as I've downloaded tons of software from loads of vendors( Adobe, symantec, microsoft, etc etc etc) and there's no problem with them getting through the firewall. We shall see.
