Edbob
I just installed the Roxio EASY CD & DVD BURNING software and I think that my computer has all the required hardware and software to run this burning software. I am trying to copy some DVD home video I started with some VHS tapes and transferred them to DVD with a DVD recorder. So now I have them on DVD disk. I bought this software to make copies to distribute to my family so when I start the process and go to copy and and by the way I have one tray so I put the disk I want to copy and click the big red copy button and I get "AN UNDOCUMENTED ERROR OCCURRED" so does anyone know what this means I hope I gave enough information
cdanteek
Try this make a folder on your hard drive, with the DVD in the DVD Drive, navigate to my computer the DVD drive, right click open, click edit at the top, click select all, on the highlighted files right click copy. Navigate to the folder on the hard drive you made, open it and right click paste. Now I don't have your software, you are on your own to burn it back to a authored DVD Video, that will play in a set top player.. cd

Put the DVD you want to copy in your DVD Drive. Open my computer find the DVD listed as (what D,E, F drive?). Then right click open on that drive letter, click edit at the top, click select all, on the highlighted files right click copy. Navigate to the folder on the hard drive you made, open it and right click paste. Better? If not maybe you could get a friend that knows PC's better to help you? cd

Brendon
You're right Eddie, that drive can read and write CDs but it can only read DVDs.
