Applying Transition Theme

Hope someone can help!!! Once I apply transition theme to my production, it shortens the time from 38 minutes to 19 minutes. What am I doing wrong. Just finished a slideshow (DVD) and had no problem, but am having a hard time with this one. Thanks for any help on this topic.

Adding transitions will always shorten a slideshow since transitions are usually accomplished by overlaying adjacent photos or videos to create the transition effect. A change from 38 minutes to 19 minutes though does not seem correct. Just like in your other post please give us some specific information on what program from the suite you are using, what exactly you are doing., etc.
