They are poor quality, can only hold a small amount of video, fewer and fewer players will play them and the blanks are just a few cents cheaper than DVD. You can get an external DVD burner for under $50. (example) Having said that, you haven't looked very hard. Open Toast, go to the third tab to the right --Video.
