Photoshow 5 Simple Star Version

Hi, I'm hoping that someone might be able to help me. I recently upgraded to the premium version when I realized that I wasn't able to use my Simple Star version. I saw that I would be able to download photoshow 5 through my account setting, but the only download that I have available there is photoshow 6. While there are some very nice themes available through this updated version, I am very, very disappointed that I am only able to use one song. This is ok if your photoshow isn't very long, but when you are using pictures that you've taken throughout a whole year of preschool it isn't. I really want to be able to use my photoshow 5, but after uninstalling and reinstalling it, I can't upload or import any new pictures. I kind of feel like I wasted my money, I only upgraded because I was under the impression that I would still be able to use photoshow 5. Does anyone have any helpful solutions?

Once you signed up for the Premium account, and logged ino My Account", didn't you see that download there? I see Version 5, Version 6 and an download for Blackberry and Windows Mobile.

 

You should be able to use V5.

Thanks for your help. So, the version 5 that I already have (photoshow deluxe 5) is not going to work at all?

sknis, I just wanted to thank you for answering my questions. I think I may have figured out the problem I was having. When I uninstalled version 5, I wasn't fully uninstalling it. I just retried it and took everything out, when I reinstalled, it looks like I got back the photo uploader that I had been missing.

I think we have had the shaft.

The Roxio photoshow will download the old photoshows, but playing them back sucks. The junk it inserts makes it not worth while viewing.

The NEW photoshow 5???? Can't get the old photoshowes to show up? I guess one must redo them all?? NO WAY!!!!

What junk? I see nothing in the slide show that I didn't put there. If you are having a problem, please create a new thread and explain the issue. It would also help if you do a screen capture and then post the image in a file sharing site with the link here.
