Dvd Burning Problem

seajays

Question

When I drop and drag some movie files to into Toast 10 on my Mac I get this message "52 files are in an unsupported format and cannot be imported." I get this message most of the time but just hit OK and the the red button then it starts to record. But this time it will not let me proceed. They are not RAR files because I ran them though XXXXX and tried agin , same error message....Thanks

81 views and nobody nows why I get this message every time I try to burn a DVD. Very Strange!

Not strange at all; perhaps the issue is with the hardware and not the software or a interaction with the other software. Usually if no one posts it is because they have not run into the problem

Perhaps if you give us more information. What format did you save the files to after running them through the program that I deleted the name of.

Anyone know if there is a codec information application like gspot for MAC? Can you just copy some of the good files and the bad files and take them to a friend who has a PC to run gspot on them?

In the mean time, download and run VLC (free player). See if that will play the bad ones, VLC will usually play anything. See if that will tell you what kind of files those are.

Hmmm, I'll leave this thread open for now but that looks like a software cracker and this site does not allow those discussions. What format are the files and where did you get them. Are they DRM protcted?
