sknis
I have up loaded my HD camcorder files (.mov), but they have no sound in Creator 9, when I play them in Quicktime the sound is there. Do i have a wrong setting? Try this if you have Creator 2009 Ultimate. If you do, you have Bias Sound Soap. Open that and select to open media file. Select the mov file. Select to save. On the screen that comes up, go to the bottom and select wav file. Name it, save. Open Video Wave and add the mov file. Select show hide tracks, select native. Once that opens, select the native track and then mute it. Select to add audio, navigate to the wav file and add that to the music track. Preview it, you should hear the audio. Normally you would not have to play around with it but you may have to adjust the location. If you are going to do any editing, output that file to an mpg file. Once that is done, create a new project in Video Wave and add the file. You can then do any editing since the wav file has now become the native audio track. I just tried Sound Soap with a Kodak ZX1 which also makes silent mov files (in Video Wave). Come back and let us know how that worked for you. Sound Soap has a trial version that you can try at the Bias web site. If you are going to do a lot of the mov files, you may want to consider it. By the way, type in the "200" so that we know that you have Creator 2009 and not Easy Media Creator 9.
ggrussell
The only problems I have seen are with the inexpensive camcorders that don't use stereo audio. I had an Aiptek for a few weeks and nothing I had would edit the files easily.

Hello Steve, I tried by your instructions above and save one of my mov's from my AIPTEK cam as wav with SoundSoap and I managed to get it to work on EMC 10 VW by adding it to the music track. Bought Creator 2009 not long ago, Thanks Steve again
