queenoid
I know that this isn't helpful, but I can really understand the frustration behind the post. I have spent over 7 hours trying to install Creator 2009. I have looked for the .dll file (wasn't there), modified my registry, done a clean install, modified my startup, deleted .Net 3.5 and copied the disk to my hard disk and tried to install there. This is crazy!!! This would have been a painful install 15 years ago!

This is crazy!!! This would have been a painful install 15 years ago! 15 years ago, let me think how easy things were… I installed a CD-ROM drive. I spent 16 hours, made 4 long distance phone calls and finally drove 100 miles to a shop to have it installed. PC Magazine at the time mentioned anyone getting a CD-ROM installed and running in under 8 hours was a wizard! Software went better, mostly… but unless you had a printer that each software had written a driver for, No Print! I destroyed both discs of one word processing software trying to get my printer to work while editing on the binary level! (disc was needed to launch the software) 1B 00 1A 3F BB 00 00 00 = turn on italics That sound easy??? But no one will disagree that the install should run much better without all these twists and turns that some users have to go through.
