You helped me out earlier and fixed the Graphics for me. I was also told by someone that Roxio should not be working on this computer. I beleive it is limited by stuff.

Yes I can do dvd movies for I have CYBERLINK POWER2GO installed which makes my player work.

My file is a AVI File.

Thank you.

Doug

You never have listed any of your computer specs???

Can your PC play a commercial DVD Movie smoothly?

What kind of file are you trying to feed it?

2.YES

3.AVI from my SAMSUNG NV 10 Digital Camera.

Also MPEG from my HI-8 SONY CCD-TRV138 CAMERA.

THANK YOU.

Edit down your computer specs; no one need to know all of that. Look at what others have in their signature.

The starts and stops certainly seem like a hardware problem but the computer should have enough power to run the videos. Do you have anything else running while you are watching the video?

You have a video chip; not a video card. Update the drivers for it from Acer. You said that you had but they may not have installed properly. Follow the instructions exactly; sometimes you have to remove the old drivers before you install new ones.

Also turn off Video Acceleration in CinePlayer (tools icon). That usually helps.

I would recommend that you install and use the free VLC player. It may give you better play results.
