System Reboot

Hello again. When I try to play anything that has been burned on a disc (cd or dvd) my computer re-boots. When I remove the roxio program, they play. When I re-download roxio, it re-boots again when trying to play the discs. Any suggestions? If my computer info is needed, where do I find that info? thanks

It sounds like there's a conflicting program installed on your system. Can you list what similar software you have such as Sonic or Nero?

When you install EMC, Drag to Disc (a packet writing application) it takes certain control over the drives. If you have a program like Sonic DLA or Nero InCD, they both can't be installed at the same time or problems can happen.

ok, I have FinePix Viewer, Pinnacle Instant cd/dvd, hp memories disc creator, hp image zone plus, mypublisher book maker, expressit se 2.2, record now. I think that is all. some just hold and download my pictures and some make labels and some can make disc. I am sure you already know that though. I don't think there are any other programs (that Iknow of).

I'm not familiar with all the HP stuff but it could be something there causing the conflict. I believe Record Now has 'drop and burn' or something like that....does it not? That may be the problem.
