Closed Session Audio Cdr Burning

I seem unable to burn MP3 tracks from a hard disk onto a Audio CDR as a closed session recording. The disks are shown on the CDR as Audio CD but they will only play in the computer or the car cd player and not in the Audio CD player ( A Cyrus CD XTSE) which will only play closed session recording and shows up as disk error and ejects disk.

 

I therefore assume the problem is with making the audio recordings 'closed session'. I have read the help section and followed the steps using the Tools drop down menu inRoxio 2009 to pick Disk finalize. I have tried to use the disk finalize before burning the disk and after burning it. Everytime I use it the menu comes up and shows it is finalizing the disk but fails to start. After about 15 seconds the cd drawer ( I only have one) opens with the message ;

 

Please insert an appendable data disc that is CD media or DVD write-once media.

 

I would appreciate any advice on this.

Are you trying to make a CD to play on a CD player or an mp3 disc that will play on computers, most DVD player and CD players that are mp3 playable.

 

Finalizing disc has nothing to do with it.

 

Use "Create Music Disc Projects" and almost everything will be automatic. If you are making an mp3 dic, in settings, make sure you check the box to "convert all" to and select the mp3 quality.

Further to above. The reason I tried to finalize the disk was because it was the only icon that mentions 'closing a session'. As previously stated I need to know how to do a 'Closed session' disc.
