Annoying Dialog Appears When Scrolling

Juan Dent

Question

When scrolling in the window that contains what files we want to burn, a very annoying dialog appears with the name of the current item together with some info and a checkbox that reads "Invisible". I keep dismissing this dialog but it appears every time I scroll. Why? How can I get rid of it?

Thanks,

Juan Dent

You should only see that dialog when you double click on a selected file using the mouse button. Are you dragging with the scroll bars or a mouse wheel?

I am adding with the mouse wheel - actually the little ball-like "wheel" that comes in Macinstosh wireless mice...

Is this why? I cann't scroll with any wheel?

if so, I would say a very worthwhile enhancement to the program should be made on this topic.

Thanks,

Juan

In System Preferences, what action do you have selected for the ball? In the screenshot below, it's the option that shows as "Dashboard". It might be possible that you're pressing it down while scrolling, try changing that option to do nothing.
