When you insert the installation disc in the drive and it doesn't spin up and start yoru program, you might try (with the disc in your DVD drive) opening up Windows Explorer and go to the drive that the disc is in and look for the "setup.exe" file. If your AUTORUN has been turned off or disabled as per some of the latest Microsoft Security updates, then nothing will happen.
