bobchapman2005
If you could post a clip from your camera somewhere like www.upfordown.com, we would be more than happy to try it out for you to make sure. I have posted a VERY short clip at http://www.upfordown.com/public/pdownload/....MOV?no_history. It is a brilliant picture of my feet with a couple of seconds of sound. Thanks for your offer to try it! Bob Chapman

As you can see it came into VW without a glitch, including the native audio of the file. Of course it is less than 1 full second, only 28 frames

ggrussell
Yes, Creator 2009 will accept standard Quicktime files. However, some camera/camcorder manufacturers tend to not follow the 'standards' so C2009 may or may not import the files correctly. For example, I had an inexpensive Aiptek camcorder briefly. Videowave imported the video fine, but there was no audio. If you could post a clip from your camera somewhere like www.upfordown.com, we would be more than happy to try it out for you to make sure. Trying to decide whether to buy this product. THanks Bob Chapman That's sort of like asking can my Ford do 200 mph ! Which camera? SD or AVCHD? I've got to warn you that Sony and Panasonic don't normally follow the international standards. Do you have software to get the video from the camera to your computer? If it records to a memory card, you can copy it to your computer just as if it were a image. Yes, mov files are supported. There may be some audio tricks that you need to do to get audio. I has an old Olympus that also took mov files and I had to play around with the audio to get a good video/audio movie. If you buy Creator 2009 directly from Roxio's on-lie store, you will have 30 days to return it for a refund. Get the Ultimate for some of the other applications included.
