Antares
I want to back up the DVD project but I'm not sure what to use. What are the advantages of the foler set? I assume the image file will allow me to burn new copies of the exact disc I created. Does the folder set allow you to edit the project later? Antares
Thanks, that answers my question. Storage won't be a problem, I have over a terabyte. I agree, I will store the project in it's original form. I create project folders and copy all of the photos in it so now I will just copy in any video I use in the folder also. Neither allows you to edit later… ISO is a disc image ready to be burned to a disc. Folder is merely a copy of the Folder/Files on a disc. The only “good” storage is to store the original project and its’ sources but at a cost in SIZE. Look Here You can extract from an ISO by jumping through a few hoops and you can import the .VOB files from a VIDEO_TS Folder and do edits. My concern is you rendered them to get to the edge of burn and you will ‘unpack’ them to edit and render again… Loses are going to creep in when you do all this.
