saceysach
I have the Easy CD and DVD Creator 6 and it says that Quick Time Mov. files are supposed to be compatible but when I try to import these files, the software acts like it can't find them and says nothing. I can import images from the Multimedia file but when I try to import Mov. files, nothing happens. Also, if you were going to upgrade to another Roxio product for creating videos, what would you suggest.

ECDC v6 was a one of a kind design for making DVD's, as it was the first version to venture into that realm. It is also quite old [there have been 6 versions since then], so there may be some compatibility issues with some of the more current video file formats. Do you have Quick Time installed? It would need to be for the files to be usable. What are the source of these .mov files? If from a camera, not all makes/models/brands that save .mov files foolow the standards for a QT .mov file. If you really want to consider a newer version, Creator 2009 is best for working with video. However, review the system requirements and make sure your system exceeds them in all respects. They are barely adequite for the application.
Jim_Hardin
I do not have the notes anymore but I recall that 6.0 didn’t do MOV but it was fixed in one of the updates…
