How To Burn A Modified Video

Flo1

Question

I believe I successfully deleted a portion of a video at the end in VideoWave. I also changed the title name in MyDVD. When I look at the file in Windows Explorer, the duration did not diminish & when I open the file to burn it, the title did not change. So, I changed the title by double-clicking on it but I'm still not sure the video is the one with the end portion trimmed. Help!

P.S. To be clear, the title name is called Menu in Roxio.

If you create a project in Video Wave and then add it to MyDVD and edit it there, the changes do not show up in Video Wave and vice versa. You must delete the original VideoWave title in MyDVD and add the new, shortened project.

You said that you deleted the end of a video in Video Wave. Did you save it in Video Wave? With what name? that's what you should add to MyDVD (Create DVD Advanced). Changing the name "Menu" to something else simple put that something else on the DVD that you are going to burn. You still need to add the Video Wave project (and change the name if you want).

You could always press preview to see if the title is the shortened one.

What file file did you look at in Windows Explorer? Unless you use "Ouput" from videovave to create a new video file from your project file, you will never see any size change. The original video file never gets changed!

I think it would help if you were to read the Workflow Strategy post in the pinned posts for this forum. It gives an excellent explanation of how to proceed.
