Upgrade/updates For Toast 6?

Hi, i have Toast 6. i just installed it onto my brand new Mac - adn it doesn't seem to be working (sounds like a sample rate issue - Cackle and distortion). I notice that there are no updates for Toast 6 offered on the Roxio site. Is it possible to update/upgrade Toast 6 - or will i have to purchase an entirely new version? Also is anyone certain that upgrading my version of Toast will solve the distortion issue i am having? Thanks.

Uhhh, where (application) are you getting the distortion?

 

You would need to buy the newest version.
