Digitize Lps And Tapes

Iamcdn_Joy

Question

GRRRRRRRRRRRR - I'm about to lose my mind. This is the second Roxio product I've purchased; and I think it will be the last. I cannot even use the first product. I lost it and could not remember the last 5 digits of my credit card so Roxio would not let me redownload - even though I had the product key and password information - sucks to be me. Anyway - enough of that. My problem today is with Easy VHS to DVD and its application for LPs and tapes. I am trying to digitize LPs but haven't got a clue what to do after I've uploaded the LP to the software application. For example, what the hek are tracks, how do you insert them, and what are they for? Why can I not hear sound even though the test of my speakers showed they are working? Is there a USEFUL guide out there for this software package? pardon my crankiness; but I'm really beginning to hate Roxio.

Read the first Pinned post at the top of the Easy VHS to Dvd main Forum (in case you can't find it http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?showforum=216 ).

Yup - did that - it's the same on that came with the software and it says absolutely nothing about the questions I've asked, and provides no tutorial or helpful hints whatsover. What I'm looking for is something with details.

Thank you for copying the user guide for me; but I already have it with my purchased product. The problem I am having is not with how to follow the steps, but how to get a product out of my work. you see, I go through all the stpes exactly as instructed - but I play back and get nothing but static. Is it in how I have connected my equipment? I have no idea - I've followed the instructions and am only getting frustrated. I think I'll just take the product back and be done with it.

What O/S are you using XP or Vista?

Tell us How you have physically connected your Audio Source to the computer? As much detail as possible.

If you are hooked up correctly you should see the meters fluctuate (as per attached)
