Question

When trying to make an audio CD label, I select Auto-fill from disc and nothing happens. I have requested help from Roxio support and was instructed to "import information about the disc" in order to use gracenote, which is the online software that fulfills the request. Trouble is, I don't know how to "import information about the disc. I generally am burning classical CD albums to give to friends. Also, when trying to manually feed the information into the Roxio 9 label maker process, I list the artist. It shows oon my template, then the title. It shows on my template, then I try to list the track information. It only shows the movement, but not the time that I had also listed. I have printed it out just to see the results(I am selecting a booklet style insert.

Any help on either of these questions would be much appreciated.

P.S. On my old computer, with an older version of Roxio Creator, I could zip through the process in short time once I learned it. Also, when I selected "auto-fill from disc", the information was accessed in short time.

I'm having the same issue. I used Roxio several years ago and loved it. Just paid $$ for this recent version last week and I can't get the autofill to work either. For me, it's the "tool" I use the most. I spent on all trying to get Roxio on the phone to demand my money back because this is just silly having to add each track seperately, one at a time, using the "add text box" feature. Nero, although not as feature laden as Roxio, was far easier to use. If anyone knows a work around for this (I've read several threads on this already) let us know.

When I go to "Get Disc Information" - after burning a disc, the titles do in fact show up

I don't have ECD 9 and I don't have Soundstream.

I've downloaded SP4.

Any help?

Per Roxix support: Roxio is aware of this issue and it has been reported to the engineering team.

Any updates will be delivered through the software or avaliable to download from the roxio website as they become available.

The work around at this time is to load the files into Music Disc Creator and then click Tools -> Create labels and inserts, which opens the express labeler with the track info included. If you prefer to use the full Label Creator app rather than express labeler, click next twice, click edit in Label Creator.

They have been saying this for more than 6 months. I think they just don't want to pay for the service because this has worked just fine in all previus versions!
