Unable to Install - No DVD player

I can not install my Roxio Creator 2009 because I do not have a DVD player on my computer. All that I have is a CD player and it will not read the installation disc when I insert it. Is there somewhere online that I could download Roxio Creator 2009 without buying it over again?

Lot of things will continue to work without a DVD drive. You can still create VCDs.

You will have to contact Customer Service directly to see if they can help you.

 

I would think though it would be worthwhile to get a DVD burner to replace the CD Player.

What are your computer specifications? You may have insufficient resources to do any reasonable video projects.

The OP has one insufficient resource: he does not have at least a DVD-ROM drive in his system which is required for installing from discs as specified in the requirements.

I wouldn't want to see the OP download Creator 2009 after buying a DVD drive and then also find out that the computer has other resources that are also insufficient.

If I was a betting person, I would bet that the computer isn't up to snuff for any of the programs newer than Easy CD Creator 5.

Just exactly what is the point of using CD or Media creator products on a computer that only has a CD PLAYER?
