I need a software to snap photos ! In my laptop was Windows XP and I could use the webcam. But when I have installed Vista I found no software for using it. There isn't. What can I do? On the Web there is a lot of free software, I know. But there is always a bad surprise! Now I ask in Lenovo groups. Try using Media Cature and see if you WebCam is available as a capture device. Are you sure there is not any software for your WebCam? If you want to capture low quality video – yes! If you want still pictures, no but almost all web cams come with software to do those things… But is can get ugly! More likely you just haven’t noticed it yet I found mine while using Windows Explorer! With XP I remember there was a Roxio program maybe, but in Vista my webcam got only the drivers. And Skype for videoconferencing. Now Sknis have told me that Creator isn't appropriate. Where I bought the laptop they told me to download a program. But I dont' like Internet surprises.. No Roxio? I find it very hard to believe that they would sell a laptop with a camera and then not have software for it. Have you contacted them and or looked deeply into the operator's manual?
