How to remove a section of video

I've been stressing out on this for a few days now. It was brought to my attention that the "trimming" procedure was just for shortening the beginning OR end of a video...NOT for cutting out a section in the middle. I received help in the forum for splitting the original video & then deleting the desired section. I just spoke to tech support who showed me an easier method:

1) Open up VideoWave ( Edit video/advanced )

2) Drag video clip into timeline & expand timeline if necessary ( drag triangle symbol bet. magnifying glasses )

3) Play video ( hit pause if necessary ) & click on the "+" under the word "storyline" on the left.....this leaves a yellow marker at the start point.

4) Set end point: Drag timeline or click on FF or pause/click frame by frame or drag "scroll wheel" just below the digital timer read out.

5) Click on that "+" again to add yellow end marker.

6) Click on WHITE area between yellow markers to display an orange line/bar.

7) Click on the small red "X" under the word "storyline" to DELETE unwanted video.

8) Thank God for options !!!!!!

BTW....Under the EDIT TAB, you can click UNDO to backtrack your steps.
