rdinlb
I have just purchased Roxio Creator 2009 and have a question before I open it or load it. Is it legal to load it on my desktop computer AND my laptop? I wish to use it on both systems. If it's not legal, then I will have to decide which one to use it on or return it. Thank you .... sknis
Thanks for the quick reply. I've been wanting to open the package but now I will think about it. I sure do appreciate the information. I think this is true for any video editing software you buy. The restrictions are usually on the box or on a page for the on-line store.
d_deweywright
I know I've also seen license agreements that specifically state you can install it on more than one machine as long as only one copy is used at a time, and others that specify one desktop and one laptop/portable system, but as was posted previously, Roxio's license doesn't state it that way. rdinlb
I know I've also seen license agreements that specifically state you can install it on more than one machine as long as only one copy is used at a time, and others that specify one desktop and one laptop/portable system, but as was posted previously, Roxio's license doesn't state it that way. Yes, thank you ... I agree. I have a couple of programs which allow the installation on both desk top and laptop at the same time. Also ... MS Office Student allows it to be installed on 3 different computers at the same time. I was hoping to install Creator 2009 on my laptop for ease in porting it to the video / stereo system and the using the desktop to do the work. Anyway, It's been great reading the responses and I thank you all very much.
