Unfortunately, no information is provided on how to determine Firmware level of DVD burner on Vista Home Premiue 64-bit system, nor on how to determine if DMA is enabled. Also, the link in Post #2 currently returns a 404 error.
I did download a later version of the px.dll file and installed it, but still am having the same problem.
If I select the Roxio Creator 2009, Applications and launch Creator Classic, I am able to burn the .iso to the Memorex DL+R DVD disc. So the question, is why can the Copy, Burn Disk Image not do so?
Problem is occuring in Roxio Creator 2009 SP2 on my HP Pavillion m9425t Quad 8200 with 6GB ram and 1TB disk system.
Any recommendation on how to proceed would be appreciated. Should I just forget about Copy, Burn Disk Image and continue using Creator Classic? If so how to I change the association to the .iso file so the Creator Classic gets launched?

If you click on an .iso file, it launches Roxio Creator 2009 and brings up the Burn Disk Image option.
If I attempt to use a DL+R Memorex media, the DVD gets ejected and I receive the following error
There was a problem writing to the disc. You can try again by clicking the Retry button. You will need another blank disc ready.
Sense: 05 ASC: 26 ASCQ: 00 (Command BF)
px.dll 4.10.28.500
(Note that px.dll was initially 4.8 something)
Post #2 in following thread http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?showtopic=51094 had some recommendations on what to try.
