I am going to try using Sound Soap to clean up LP's. There does not seem to be much in the instruction or direction to take. I am going this route. Roxio > Edit Audio > Roxio Sound Editor > Record LP > Edit Track Information > Export Tracks/Clips > Then into Sound Soap to "open Media" file > doing the clean up in Sound Soap> Then "Save as" in Sound Soap changing the file name by adding number 1 to the name> Dragging the cleaned file into Roxio Sound Editor> adding a new track separator > deleting the original file in Sound Editor> Exporting the clean file and deleting the original un Soaped version in Explorer>.
There must be a quicker way to drag and replace. I only applied this to the first track. I have not applied it to an entire LP. This was my first use in this application.
Chazz.
Sorry, just ignore the above. I put the horse in front of the cart. SoundSoap is a stand alone program. You can do your cleanup directly from within the program.
