d_deweywright
You should be able to use Sound Editor to break up the file.I don't think there's a size limitation. Depending on where the file resides now depends on how you make it available to Roxio. If that file is already on your computer than all you should have to do is open Sound Editor and open the file. The good thing is the original is never harmed. You save your changes as a new clip or track. I think the header in the .WAV file actually limits you to either 2GB or 4GB, but either of those limits, at standard CD quality (44.1 samples per second, stereo, 16 bit samples) will support a two hour file. tbrewst
Very good Dave...lol From Wikipedia: The WAV format is limited to files that are less than 4 GB in size, because of its use of a 32-bit unsigned integer to record the file size header (some programs limit the file size to 2–4 GB).[3] Although this is equivalent to about 6·6 hours of CD-quality audio (44.1 KHz, 16-bit stereo), it is sometimes necessary to exceed this limit, especially when greater sampling rates or bit resolutions are required. The W64 format was therefore created for use in Sound Forge. Its 64-bit header allows for much longer recording times. The RF64 format specified by the European Broadcasting Union has also been created to solve this problem.
