Jesus,

What is your recorder's Brand and model number?

Have you had this recorder working with Easy CD & DVD Creator 6 before, or is it the first time you have had the program on this machine?

Hi Bredon :

Brand, Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-112D. Yes, was working before, I been using this software always (from 2000) and I install the burner for about 15 month with out of problem. Another think is that I was testing nero software and dosen't like me and I taker out. After that caputttt...

The default recorder dosen,t show off. Its wear because on creator classic dosen't works and in drag-to-disc he works.

uhhhhhh......

Okay Jesus,

There are two disc-writing systems in this software, [1] "authoring type" that Creator Classic does, and [2] "packet writing type" that drag-to-disc does. They work differently, and one can keep working even when the other one is broken. In your case, Creator Classic is broken.

Authoring software puts "filter entries" in the computer registry, and without these it can't see your drive. I think that when you removed Nero and it took the Nero filter out, it has broken the Roxio filter entry so now Roxio can't see your drive.

The way to repair the Roxio filter entry is to do a reinstall. You will need your Roxio installer disc to do this.

[1] Uninstall the Roxio program with Control Panel > Add/Remove programs

[2] Restart Windows without any other programs running, so they don't interfere

[3] Install the Roxio program from your installer CD

[4] Restart Windows normally

This should repair the filter entry in your registry, and make Creator Classic work properly again.
