sknis
Could someone please explain to me "step-by-step" how to use SOUND EDITOR to split up a long audio clip and then export each clip as a WAV to my desktop for burning to a CD later. Thanx What are you having trouble with? Have you tried it yet? What you are asking is very easy. You seem to have reasonable computer skills. Have you used the help menu in Sound Editor? Please don't expect us to repeat that help file here. Add the audio file, look at the icons above the wave file; their description will pop up. Save the clips to a folder. Expand the timeline so you can get a better idea of where to split the original. Juts click on the wave form where you want the split made. The arrow in the image is a bit misplaced. Just click the waveform where you wan it split and you should get a verticl line. If you wan to move it, grab it where the arrow points in the image (top line). If you grab it wrong, just click undo. Why are you putting everything on your desktop rather than in saved folders or are you simply saying you have a desktop computer?
