Is it possible to use Roxio Easy VHS to DVD for creating DVD of LASER DISCS PLAYERS, by using RCA cables or we just can do it for VHS players/recorders(VCRs), camcorders and DVD players ??

If it is not possible,does Roxio have any software for doing that ?? tks

You bet’cha!

 

I converted about 100 of my Laser Discs. Quality is great! Better than VHS and only a little under DVD.

 

RCA cables are sort of the equalizer… any device that outputs by them can be used.

I recorded just 10 minutes from a Laser Disc for testing and I do not have good result.

 

Image gets blinking.

 

Device : USB 2861 DEVICE

 

Capture configuration : Camcorder, DVD HQ, DVD SP, DVD LP or VCD ?????????

 

I used "camcorder".....

Comparison to other media

This is a list of modern-day, digital-type measurements (and traditional, analog horizontal resolutions in TV lines per picture height) for various media. The list only includes popular formats, not rare formats, and all values are approximate (rounded to the nearest 10), since the actual quality can vary machine-to-machine or tape-to-tape. For PAL media, replace 480 with 576 and 240 with 288. For ease-of-comparison all values are for the NTSC system, and listed in ascending order from lowest quality to highest quality.

Where does Camcorder come into this???

 

Look at the Guide that came with the package – page 6, 7 & 8.

 

You hook any video output to the device and it works. There is no thinking involved
