MOV audio missing from DVD - Creator 2009 Ult

Question

Hi,

i'm trying to add 8 video clips from my helmet cam to a BluRay DVD project. i tried taking the same 8 clips and adding them to a standard dvd, and the video is all there but i have no audio. i'm using a Countour HD (http://www.vholdr.com/contourhd/features) helmet cam, and according to their site it records:

"What file format and codec does the ContourHD record to?

ContourHD uses H.264 video codec, AAC audio compression, and a .mov file type. Your videos will be accepted by almost all HD video editing programs and players. H.264 has become a standard for video compression, and by using H.264 we think your videos will be more user-friendly as well as deliver the highest quality video with the smallest file sizes. "

i looked at this post: http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?showtopic=46732 , which then sent me to this post http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?...mp;#entry246956.

QT movie inspector reports:

H264

1280x720

Millions

AAC

Mono

48khz

29.97 FPS

what i don't see is the utility that converts this from my version of MOV to the "right" kind of MOV?

No. why would it? BTW, anything is better than what you has before. If you have the Ultimate, you can extract the audio from the mov file using Sound Soap and then add that back in to the VideoWave production. It is simpler the other way. :)

this is REALLY weird...

when i renamed the files, i could then wathc them with sound & video in QT and in the preview funtion of my project. i fiugured i had it solved at that point as it looked good. i then burned the BD-R disc using the custom settings and lpcm sound.

i just to play the disc, and now i have sound but no VIDEO! i have the 1st frame of each of the 8 videos, but it never progresses forward from there.
