error while encoding

Since my purchase of Roxi VHS to DVD I have copied 25 different movies, but every now and then at the end i get an error " error while encoding",this ruins the disk,it will not play nor can i use it again.I have changed to DVD+RW and it helps but lately i have been getting the same problem more often. I have re-installed the software, downloaded upgrades but to no avail. Any suggestions?

Quality Media is a must, it is always cheaper than any bargain brands that end up lining your trash can

If it doesn’t say Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden you are not dealing with the best. And be advised, RW is temporary media and is never used for long term storage. It fades and becomes unusable after time. It is great for testing and learn though!!!

I am not 100% sure of where this error is occurring? I guess it is in MyDVD?

As a test make a short project typical of those that fail. Use an RW and burn it. If it fails, redo it but select the option to Burn to File (iso) rather than disc.

V2D does not include any provision to burn an ISO file but if that is successful there are ways around that.
