This looks like a good place for the topic…

Ijar: Did you actually receive this message or are you just trolling the boards again?

Jim

It was not my entry..nor my topic either!! sorry..

I was just wondering whether you had to have EMC 10 installed

before you can install Creator 2009..that's all!!!

And I am not trolling - whatever way you want to put it..I beg your pardon

Thanks

That is Creator 2009; not Creator 9.

That is a bug in the program for some people. They do not have to have EMC 10 installed.

The link is to a Knowledge Base article regarding that error massage and its’ solution.

I have installed Creator 2009 many times and have never seen the message.

But it is a Typo in the error message that never got changed.

If you try to install the Content disc/download before you install the Program, you get the message…

It is self-explanatory for the most part except for the Typo which should read “Creator 2009” instead of EMC 10… - I guess they recycled the error messages

But your post had no business in that thread only adding confusion! But starting a New Topic would have been fine.
