Quick Question, When converting DVR-MS files...

VVix

Question

Am I able to queue a list of files to be converted so I can walk away from the program?

I record many TV shows with Media Center and then convert them for use with a portable device. But currently I can only do 1 video at a time.

I'm hoping to find new software that will allow to so select a large number of files so I don't haveto sit at my PC converting 1 at a time.

Thankyou!

:)

Well maybe…

SyncIt does drag and drop conversions so you can bundle up.

I don’t really understand why you even need to convert? Won’t VW or MyDVD work with these?

I watch my recorded shows on my phone (on lunch at work and between classes at school) I have to convert the recordings to 3gp in order to do so. The software I'm currently using forces me to do 1 at a time.

I was thinking of picking up Roxio with the hope that it had some form of queue system that would allow me to do large groups in 1 shot.

As I said, SyncIt would do it...

It is covered up by the drop down list in this shot, but you can pick destination too. I believe that you could covert them and send them to your phone at the same time. Assumes your phone will show up when connected to your PC.

I don't watch my phone and don't have any Media Center files to try out - wish someone who has done this woudl relate their experance...
