<_< do I have to have the Roxio Creator DE

lee_paws

Question

do I have to have any Roxio Creator to use this program? I have another cd/dvd buring program but not one from Roxio. Do I have to have one created by Roxio? Is there a trial version I can download if so? Please help I need to get this video to my doctor so he can see what my seizures look like.

Also can I download the directly to the hard drive and then copy it and burn the video to a DVD on another computer?

Thanks for any help :(

Easy VHS to DVD is a stand alone program. You don't need any other Roxio product to be installed, to use it.

When I get to the Caputre device step everything is greyed over. I had to use the CD because my computer was not recognizing the jump drive that came with the equipment supplied by Roxio. Is there anyway that I can use a computer that doesn't have a DVD burner on and save everything to the hard drive and then copy it and burn it on another computer?

Thanks again

I don't understand

What jump drive came with what equipment? You "had to use" what CD?

If you have the VHStoDVD program then you can capture to your hard drive and move the captured video to another computer to burn to a DVD. The video on that DVD in most cases can only be played on a computer.

Sorry when I talk about the Jump Drive I was referring to the video capture USB. I thought I read somewhere in the manual that they called it a jump drive. There was a CD that came with the equipment that has the program and drivers on it. I am in the process of uninstalling and reinstalling the software now and going to see if it will recognize the video capture USB.

So my doc wouldn't be able to look at this on a DVD player at her office? :( She really needs to see what my seizure looks like. I guess I could take my laptop into her office if I can get this to work.

How long will you be answering questions tonight? Is there always someone on here to answer questions?

Thanks Again.

I reinstalled the software and it is now recognizing the video capture USB. I am getting video but the capture button is greyed over. The other buttons turn orange when I roll over them but not the capture button. Anyone know what could be wrong now?

Thanks a lot!

I forgot to say that I can see video. I have read the other post about the capture button but they don't seem to apply.
