myDVD V9 cutting beggining from slideshows

Hi All,

 

I'm using MyDVD v9 and adding slideshows built in "Slideshow Assistant" via the add movie (saved in Roxio's dmss Format).

 

I them via add movie and they play fine in the preview.

 

When I burn them onto the DVD though when you click on the menu button the slideshow starts about 10-30 seconds through the slideshow - cutting off a load of the pictures. Doesn't matter if I put the DVD into a DVD player or the PC.

 

Any ideas?

An Update,

 

I've saved the files as MPEGs now and they play form the start okay - I'd prefer to link in the slideshows direct without having to do thisthough.

 

When you play the disc it looks like it's inserting a chapter at the start of the movie but playing the movie from chapter 2 (or similar). You can't edit chapters from slideshows so I'm still at a loss how i can do this!
