Roxio not compatible with Mouse&KeyRecorder(MKR) v6.5

I am running Windows Ultimate Vista 64 bit OS, and have installed Mouse & Key Recorder (www.kratronic.com). Until I installed Roxio, whenever I clicked on Recorder.exe, MKR opened.

Now, after Installation of Roxio, I get a message stating:

 

Roxio Easy VHS to DVD in title bar

 

Please wait while Windows configures Roxio Easy VHS to DVD. I click on Cancel each time this message appears(for a total of five(5) times, and then MKR opens.

 

I suspect that both apps are attempting to access a shared DLL, and the DLL is not compatible for both running.

 

Anyone else have this issue? If so, how to resolve?

Also, If I do not click on Cancel, I get another message:

 

Roxio Easy VHS to DVD in title bar

You must restart your system for the configuration changes made to Roxio Easy VHS to DVD to take effect. Click Yes to restart now or No if you plan to restart later.

Most likely your install did not complete. Or that program is interfering.

 

In either case the only real test is for you to do the Clean Install – Here

 

Simply removing the other program will not fix what it broke and I doubt it is really interfering.
